... At the center place of the southern part of the bay , this rock has always been a very useful beacon. Its name has obviously been given , because the sea reaches or leaves the bottom of the rock exactly at half-tide. When the rock is fully covered ( 7.3 m) , yachtsmen can expect more than 1m of water at Castel Regis Pier quay.
